Terms & Conditions

By booking with Part of the Pack Pet Care (POTP), you agree to the following terms:

 

Services & Responsibilities

  • We provide pet sitting, overnight stays, dog walking, transportation, feeding, and general pet care.
  • All pets in your household, including future pets, are covered under these terms.
  • We are insured, bonded, and all employees are background-checked and trained.

Rates & Fees

  • Prices may change based on industry standards; holiday rates apply.
  • Additional fees for last-minute bookings, late-night requests, and extended overnight stays.

Payments & Cancellations

  • Payment: Full payment is required within 24 hours of booking start date. Unpaid services may be canceled.
  • Standard Cancellations:
    • Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled service are non-refundable.
    • Cancellations made less than 2 weeks and up to 48 hours before the service receive a 50% (holidays only).
    • Cancellations made less than 1 week and up to 48 hours before the service receive a 50% refund (non-holidays).
    • Cancellations made 2+ weeks before the service receive a full refund (holidays only).
    • Cancellations made 1+ week before the service receive a full refund (non-holidays).
  • Same-Day & No-Show Policy:
    • If you cancel the same day or fail to notify us before arrival, you will be charged in full.
    • For daily/weekly clients, cancellations must be made before 8 PM the day prior to avoid charges.
  • Emergency Considerations: Exceptions may be made for serious emergencies on a case-by-case basis.
  • Service Credits: Clients may request refunds as future service credits, which must be used within:
    • 6 months for daily services (drop-ins, walks).
    • 1 year for overnight services.

Pet Care Requirements

  • All pets must have up-to-date vet records and vaccinations.
  • Clients must provide proper equipment (fitted collars, leashes, harnesses, etc.).
  • Retractable leashes are not permitted.

Emergency & Liability

  • We may seek emergency vet care at the client’s expense if needed.
  • POTP is not liable for pet injuries, health issues, or damages unless due to negligence.
  • We may discontinue services if a pet poses a safety risk.

Inclement Weather & Home Access

  • We strive to provide service in all weather conditions but may adjust schedules for safety.
  • Clients should clear walkways of snow/ice for pet sitters’ safety.
  • We require written notice if others will have access to the home during the service period.

Privacy & Media Use

  • We may use pet photos for marketing but will not share private home details.
  • Clients must respect pet sitters’ privacy regarding home security cameras.
